In the Volta region, and more specifically in the locality of the southern district of Dayi, unemployment is a real problem. To help the local population and especially the young people, His Majesty Deiga Kwadzo-Dei XII, King of Peki has set up a structure of practical training to instill in them the entrepreneurial spirit and show them the possibilities of jobs they could consider. The area has a small bookshop, but the textbooks are largely out of fashion.
By supporting this project, Timuntu Travel allows young people to benefit from training in order to empower themselves but also to provide the schools of the village with more up-to-date books. Each traveler can contribute to this project by bringing school supplies and especially textbooks and/or by participating in the facilitation of a training program by passing on their skills and expertise.
