“A School for Togo” is the project that is part of the logic according to which education remains the basis of all development. The partner association of this project encourages the integration of young people and supports parents and guardians who are concerned about the future of their children.
70% of these young people, due to a lack of financial means, are forced to abandon their studies. As a result, they become non-graduates (without qualifications) and are then social cases for the community. “A School for Togo” allows them to learn a trade and obtain qualifications. To do this, the association rents houses to individuals and the place of learning is not fixed, which makes the learning conditions unstable.
In order to improve the learning conditions of the students, the center needs to acquire its own site. To do this, Timuntu Travel supports them in this project by paying a contribution of €30 per traveler staying in Togo.
